Where We Are

Culture & entertainment

For culture vultures, Lake Garda – the so-called "luogo magico" (magical place) – has a truly unique atmosphere, offering visitors an unforgettable trip through history, art and culture.
It is the ideal starting point for visits to fascinating cultural hotspots such as Brescia, Mantua, Milan, Venice and Verona, where operas are staged in the famous Roman Arena. In the immediate vicinity of our hotel, you can visit Sirmione and the other delightful lakeside towns, as well as Il Vittoriale degli Italiani at Gardone Riviera, not to mention places that have had crucial roles to play in the history of Italy, such as Solferino and San Martino della Battaglia. The wonderful Pinacoteca della Fondazione Ugo da Como is located in Lonato (Brescia), and then, of course, there are the many attractions to be found in the centre of Desenzano itself, such as the Villa Romana and the Museo Rambotti, which houses the world's oldest plough.
